We are finalizing the implementation of the Guidelines released by our College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of BC (CSHHBC), Worksafe BC and the Office of the Provincial Health Officer in preparation for our re-opening. We want to ensure that Sound idEARS is a safe place for our staff and our valued clients. We have, therefore, decided to extend our temporary closure until we have all the necessary safety measures in place that we believe are necessary to serve you.
We anticipate being able to welcome our clients back into our clinic on June 1 st .
From this point forward, we will not be able to take walk-ins so please call prior to coming into the clinic. Due to the sanitizing procedure when we receive hearing aids, we are unable to offer immediate on-site service but request that our clients pick-up and drop-off their hearing aids using our curbside service available every morning from 9am to 11am. Telehealth procedures will continue to be utilized as much
as possible to maintain physical distancing.
Health screening for Covid-19 symptoms and temperature checks will be conducted prior to any visit.
Physical distancing protocols, the use of PPEs and frequent disinfection and sanitizing procedures will also ensure the safety of both our clients and staff.
Full details on the precautionary measures that will be implemented in our clinic will be posted shortly.
We’re in this together. We appreciate your patience, cooperation, and continued support!
