COVID-19 PANDEMIC UPDATE

WE ARE OPEN!

We are ready to welcome all our clients back! Here are some changes have been implemented to ensure the safety of our clients and our staff.

  • Physical distancing requires that we see fewer clients per day to make time in between visits for cleaning and sanitizing.
  • Disinfection and sanitizing of the clinic at all touch-points following every client visit.
  • Use of masks and, where necessary, gloves and face shields by our staff.
  • Prior to your appointment, we will review your current COVID health status through a series of screening questions.
  • We require everyone wear a mask when visiting our clinic as we will be unable to meet physical distance requirements as we work on your ears

Please note that during the Phase 2 re-opening phase, our temporary reduced office hours will be:

MONDAY TO FRIDAY: 9AM – 3PM

If you do not have an appointment please call the office first before dropping in, to ensure you are not arriving during a high traffic hour. This will help maintain social distancing in the waiting room.

For more information about our COVID-19 Policy, click here.

As we work to flatten the Covic-19 pandemic curve, we want you to know that maintaining a safe and healthy environment for our staff and clients like you is our primary concern.

In these uncertain times, you can still rely on us for emergency help, repairs, supplies and remote services by emailing me directly at [email protected].

Take care,

Carol and the Sound idEARS Team.

*Note: Our existing clients can still purchase batteries or other assorted hearing aid supplies, which can be mailed out with no shipping charge. Please place your orders through the new “Client Supply Ordering” site menu

OAKRIDGE CONSTRUCTION UPDATE

Median/Heritage Boulevard Work

  • Work on the median on Cambie Street has begun and resulted in Cambie Street being reduced to single lane heading southbound from 41st to 45th.  This is expected to last until October.
  • In addition to the above, all southbound lanes on Cambie Street between 42nd and 45th will be closed temporarily from July 2nd to 10th.  Traffic heading southbound will be directed to “cross over” to the east side of Cambie.  Refer to the below image.  During this period, the left turn into the parkade from Cambie northbound will be closed 24/7.  Entrance into the parkade is only available via southbound on Cambie Street.  When existing, customers will crossover to the east of Cambie Street and continue southbound.

Single Lane Alternating Access in/out of Parkade

  • In/out of the parkade will be single lane alternating access from July 2nd to August 23rd.   Please note this work overlaps with the median crossover noted above.
  • TCP will be in place to manage traffic from:
    • 6:30am to 9pm on Mon to Sat
    • 9:00am to 7pm on Sundays
  • Important Note:  Parkade will be closed outside of TCP hours.  Tenant requiring access in/out of the parkade outside of the TCP hours must contact Security at 604-269-2103 at least fifteen (15) minutes prior so the barriers can be removed to facilitate safe entry/exit.

Due to all the above work, please add additional travel time.

Thank you for your accommodation and we apologise for the temporary inconvenience.
